Pastor Gary Lounsberry
Pastor Gary has been active in Vocational Christian Service for 40+ years. He has extensive experience in Pastoral Ministry, and Church Planting. He spent 25 years serving in Christian Higher Education as a Professor, Enrollment Specialist, Consultant and Dean in Adult Christian Education.
Gary is a native son of Gobles, Michigan where Northpoint Ministries is located. Northpoint Ministries is Gary's second church plant in the Gobles area, as he was the Founding Pastor of 'Kalhaven Community Church' in 2001, (now - Journey Family Church).
The Lord has also previously placed Gary and his wife Marguerite in urban cross-cultural ministry in Newark, New Jersey, Washington DC, and Miami, Florida. Gary spends most of his time helping pastor Northpoint Ministries alongside co-Pastor John Losen, a friend in Christ since 1980.
Pastor Gary holds degrees in Pastoral Ministry from 'Cornerstone University', Biblical Studies from 'Trinity International University', and Christian Higher Education from 'Columbia International University', South Carolina.
Gary's teaching method is expository, verse by verse, Bible teaching. He sincerely welcomes you and yours to come grow with us as we labor with our Lord Jesus Christ, as He builds Northpoint Ministries of Gobles.
